Griddled Asparagus with Serrano

Ingredients
  

  • 12 asparagus spears
  • 6 slices Serrano ham
  • 1 teaspoon oil
  • 1 teaspoon butter
  • seasoning

Instructions
 

  • Wash and trim the asparagus to even lengths (make sure they fit in the pan).
  • Split each ham slice in two lengthways and wind around the asparagus diagonally.
  • Heat the fat in a griddle pan and add the asparagus for 2 minutes each side.
  • Season and serve.

Notes

Great cooked on the barbecue or grilled, just brush with oil before placing on the grill.
