Honey Garlic Salmon
Delicious combination of butter, honey, garlic and lemon spread over salmon, baked and then grilled in under 30 minutes.
- 1.25 kg salmon fillet
- 4 cloves garlic crushed
- 25 g butter
- 4 tbsp clear honey
- 1 juice and zest of a lemon
- lemon thinly sliced
- 2 tbsp fresh dill chopped
Grease a large piece of foil and place on a baking tray then top with the salmon.
Put the butter, honey, garlic and lemon in a bowl and microwave on high in 10 second bursts until melted then pour over the salmon.
Season the salmon and draw up the foil to make a loose but secure parcel then place in an oven preheated to 180 C for about 15-20 minutes.
Open the foil and place under a medium grill for a few minutes until the salmon is golden.
Sprinkle on the lemon zest ahd dill and garnish with lemon slices.
